The Renewal Application for the 2017-2018 academic year is now available here. The application is due on Friday, June 30, 2017. Students who complete a renewal application will be notified by the end of July.
Note - One letter of recommendation will be required for your renewal application. You should ask your recommender for a letter well in advance of the application deadline.
Graduate School Scholarships
The American Savings Foundation awards a small number of graduate school scholarships only to students who have received the American Savings Foundation scholarship in the past. Priority is given to students pursuing a master's degree in education or social service, and who are attending graduate school within the state of Connecticut. Most graduate school scholarships are awarded for one year only.
Graduate school applicants should use the renewal application to apply. Students who apply for a graduate school scholarship will be notified by the end of July.
If you are a current college freshman who was awarded a 2-year scholarship in 2016, you are not required to fill out the entire renewal application. However, you are required to send us enrollment and financial information. All current recipients will receive an email and/or postcard in April to clarify which procedures to follow.
