This is a toll-free line available anytime, day or night. Identify yourself as an American Savings Foundation Scholar when you call to access the Scholar Assistance Program.

The American Savings Foundation and Wheeler have joined together to offer American Savings Foundation Scholars access to help and support through an innovative new program, the Scholarship Assistance Program.

Current ASF Scholars have access to the following services:

  • Telephone crisis intervention via a toll-free telephone number, 24-hours a day.
  • Up to three confidential counseling sessions per issue or event.
  • Coordination of services for students referred to treatment beyond the Scholar Assistance Program.

The Scholar Assistance Program provides support for everyday challenges. These can include but are not limited to: Stress management, substance use disorders, emotional challenges, family concerns, relationship issues, grief and loss, and traumatic events.

All services are free and confidential. The American Savings Foundation is not notified if a Scholar utilizes any of these services. Use of this program has no impact on renewals or internship program decisions.
